Greylock Partners et al. invest $15m in Wrapp
Greylock Partners, Atomico, Creandum and other backers have invested $15m in a series-B funding round for mobile gifting service Wrapp.
Investors that participated in the round include existing funders Greylock Partners, Atomico and Creandum, alongside new investors American Express, Qualcomm Ventures and SEB Private Equity.
The total amount invested in Wrapp to date is $25.5m. The fresh capital will be used to support growth in existing areas, develop the product and hire staff for Wrapp's US operations in San Francisco.
In November 2011, Atomico led a $5.5m series-A round in Wrapp, with Creandum as a co-investor. Greylock added a further $5m to the series-A round in January 2012.

Wrapp is a mobile gifting service founded in early 2011 by a group of serial entrepreneurs and based in Stockholm and San Fransisco.
Wrapp allows users to give, receive, redeem and contribute to gifts, using mobile devices and the web. The company launched in Sweden in November 2011 and expanded to the US in May 2012.
Wrapp has a marketing platform presence in the US, UK, Sweden, Germany,
the Netherlands, Finland, Norway and Australia.
People
Reid Hoffman is a general partner at Greylock. Niklas Zennström is a general partner at Atomico. Hoffman and Zennström are joining Wrapp's board of directors. Johan Brenner is a general partner at Creandum.
Carl Fritjofsson and Hjalmar Winbladh are co-founders of Wrapp, as well as COO and CEO respectively.
