ICG invests in Viking
Intermediate Capital Group has made a minority investment in Norwegian roadside assistance provider Viking Redningstjeneste.
Viking's current executive management group will continue to maintain a "substantial" ownership in the company.
Company
Founded in Norway in 1956, Viking provides roadside assistance services. The company is also present in Sweden with offices in Stockholm, Uppsala, Malmö and Gothenburg as well as a broad network of partners.
In addition to roadside assistance services, Viking performs medical assistance and other call centre-related services to a broad client base within the insurance, automotive and financial sectors. Viking employs more than 1,200 people in Norway. The company has an annual turnover of approximately €70m.
