Creandum in Videoplaza trade sale
Creandum and other investors have sold Swedish video advertising company Videoplaza to US-based video streaming analytics company Ooyala, owned by Australian telecoms giant Telstra.
Swedish VC Northzone Ventures was also an investor in Videoplaza, alongside Innovacom, Qualcomm Ventures Europe, and a number of business angels.
The exit comes six years after Creandum first invested in the company in the summer of 2008.
Previous funding
Videoplaza has raised more than €13m over three rounds in the past six years.
In July 2008, the business raised €420,000 from Creandum and business angels Henrik Torstensson and Magnus Hultmann.
In May 2010, Videoplaza landed a further €3.5m when Northzone joined Creandum in the company's shareholding.
Videoplaza's most recent capital injection came in 2012, when Qualcomm and Innovacom joined the existing investors in a $12m (€9.5m) series-B.

Founded in Stockholm in 2007, Videoplaza develops video advertising platforms for media companies to monetise their online video content on any device, whether computer, mobile or tablet.
Now based in London, the company has offices in seven locations, including Berlin, Paris and Singapore.
