
Northzone and Amadeus back Nyx
Northzone Ventures and Amadeus Capital have invested SEK 100m in Ludvika-based Nyx Security.
Funding will support a European expansion for its CCTV monitoring services. The expansion is expected to create 12 to 15 new jobs in 2011, most of which will be based in Ludvika.
Tomas Eriksson will step in as the new CEO of Nyx as of 11 April.
Company
Nyx Security is based in Ludvika and provides CCTV security services to enterprises and the public sector. The company was founded in 2001 and during the summer of 2008, its security guard business was sold so that Nyx could focus on the CCTV systems.
In 2010 the company generated a turnover of approximately SEK 39m.

Hans Otterling worked on the deal for Nyx Security and is chairman of the company's board of directors.
