Adelis Equity hits first close for maiden fund
Stockholm-based Adelis Equity Partnersт maiden fund has hit a first close at тЌ230m following less than six months of fundraising, according to sources close to the situation.
The debut fund, which is understood to be on its way to reaching its €340m target by the end of the year, will target lower mid-market investments in the Nordic region. The fund has a traditional 10-year lifespan. The GP is understood to have hired Park Hill group as placement agent.
Investors
Swedish firm Adelis was formed in November 2012 by ex-Triton principal Jan Åkesson and former 3i executive Gustav Bard.
The founders were joined by 3i's previous Northern Europe operations director Johan Seger and former 3i senior deal-maker Steffen Thomsen in January and April this year, respectively.
Adelis Equity Partners declined to comment.
