Zoomio (Denmark) - Dec 2007

Via Venture Partners has led a €5m funding round for Zoomio, a Danish multi-channel marketing software company. The financial injection will fund international expansion and strengthen the software development team. The deal was completed in December 2007 after a year of negotiations between the venture capitalist and the software company.

Company

Founded in 2002, the business has developed the software platform Zoomio Campaigner for effective digital direct marketing that can easily be integrated into other systems such as CRM, SMS, email and telemarketing. The system allows more effective and segmentation and targeting of customers. The business is headquartered in Copenhagen where the product design is based, while the back-end development of the software is located in Pakistan where 23 developers are employed.

People

Peter Thorlund Haar, investment manager of Via Venture Partners joins the board of directors. Per John Jensen is the CEO of the business.
