
Segulah’s European Travel Interactive buys Flygresor.se
Segulah portfolio company European Travel Interactive (ETI) has acquired price comparison website Flygresor.se.
Online travel agency group ETI is aiming to enter a new market segment via the acquisition of Svenska Resenätverket, which runs the Flygresor.se website, and to continue its expansion strategy within the Nordic region.
ETI offers airline tickets, hotel reservations and other travel-related services through multiple brands. In 2012, ETI had gross sales of SEK 6.6bn (€760m). The group includes the brands Seat24, Supersaver/Supersavertravel, Gotogate, Flybillet, Flygvaruhuset, Travelstart, Travelpartner, Budjet and Travelfinder. ETI operates in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Russia and the Netherlands.
ETI stated it was attracted to the growth potential of Flygresor.se due to the increasing need for price comparison websites.
Following the acquisition, Svenska Resenätverket will run as a separate company with its own management and board.

Founded in 2006, Svenska Resenätverket runs and develops websites, mainly focusing on travel-related goods and services. The group includes Flygresor.se, charter.se, reseforum.se, flygbilligt.se, valuator.se, alltomgotland.se, flightradar24.com and hyrbil.se.
In 2012, Flyreiser.no and Flyrejser.dk launched in Norway and Denmark respectively.
