Inlandsinnovation and Ackra invest SEK 20m in Envibat
Swedish government-backed VC Inlandsinnovation and regional VC Ackra Invest have injected SEK 20m into environmental technology company Envibat.
The business will use the fresh funds to expand its team, as well as to construct five to seven more water- and gas-cleaning and energy-reclaiming installations.
The new facilities will be built in the Nordic region as well as in India and China.
Company
Based in Skellefteå, Envibat develops products for energy recovery, as well as gas and water cleaning for environmental purposes.
The company as founded in 2005 and employs seven staff. Last year it had revenues of SEK 27m.
People
Inlandsinnovation investment director Lars Eckström and Ackra Invest CEO Arne Morén represented the VCs. Harry Johansson is the CEO of Envibat.
