
Wellington et al. in seed round for HowDo
Wellington Partners has led a seed investment round in Sweden-based HowDo, a knowledge-based social platform.
Wellington was joined by Horizon Ventures, which manages the private venture investments of Hong Kong businessman Li Ka-shing, and angel investor Peter Read.
HowDo's platform is currently in private beta phase.
Company
Founded in May 2012, HowDo is a social platform allowing users to upload and share "HowDos", short sound and image chapters designed to share their knowledge on a specific topic.
The company is currently based in Stockholm, but the four-strong team is in the process of relocating to Berlin.
People
Daniel Waterhouse led the deal for Wellington. Emma Rose Metcalfe and Nils Westerlund are co-founders of HowDo.
