
Dawn et al. invest €5.5m in LeadDesk
Dawn Capital has taken part in the €5.5m series-A funding round for Finnish software-as-a-service (SaaS) company LeadDesk.
Finnish Industry Investment also participated in the round.
LeadDesk will use the capital to continue its expansion across Europe, focusing in particular on the UK, Spain and the Benelux region.
Finnish Industry Investment is backed by the Finnish Government and has €900m in assets under management.

Founded in 2010, LeadDesk provides the European call centre industry with outbound call centre software. This includes operator services and contact data services.
LeadDesk's software is used by 5,000 agents in 15 countries to make around three million calls per week, according to the company. Headquartered in Helsinki, LeadDesk has offices in eight countries including Norway, Poland and Germany.

Olli Nokso-Koivisto is CEO of LeadDesk. Teddie Wardi led the deal for Dawn Capital and will join the LeadDesk board of directors. General partner Haakon Overli also worked on the deal for Dawn. Juha Lehtola is an investment director at Finnish Industry Investment.
