3i exits Finnish outdoor brand Halti Oy
3i has sold its 49% equity stake in Finnish outdoor equipment company Halti Oy to Ingman Group.
3i backed the MBO of the company in July 2004. The deal was valued at less than €25m.
Company
Halti Oy is a Finnish manufacturer of outdoor clothing and equipment based in Vantaa. Founded in 1976, the company employs 60 people and recorded net sales of €28m in 2010. It is selling products under the brandnames Halti and Raiski.

Erkki Nikoskelainen led the deal on behalf of 3i's Nordic private equity team. Martti Uusitalo is CEO of Halti Oy.
