Verdane Capital injects $10m into inRiver
Verdane Capital has invested $10m in Swedish product information management business inRiver, continuing an active year for the GP.
The investment comes just two weeks after the firm invested in Swedish textile business Bemz, and is the second acquisition made by Verdane this year. The GP has also financed a portfolio company's acquisition, and made four exits since January.
inRiver will use the capital injection from Verdane for product development, marketing support, recruitment and ongoing expansion in the global market.
The GP's investment was made through Verdane Capital VIII, a 2013-vintage SEK 2bn vehicle and is the fund's third buyout, having otherwise acquired secondary portfolios.

Headquartered in Stockholm, inRiver is a provider of product information management tools, which allow commerce professionals to visually manage product information across various sales channels and in multiple languages.
