Industrifonden and Innogy invest in Mantex
Industrifonden and Innogy Ventures have invested SEK 30m in Mantex, a moisture measurement technology company.
Industrifonden is a new backer of Mantex, while Innogy has been invested in the company since 2009. This is Industrifonden's fifth investment for the financial year 2012-2013.
The fresh capital will be used to industrialise the company's products and to support its international expansion.
The company, which recently introduced its first product to the market, had a turnover of around SEK 7m in 2012 and has several large paper manufacturers such as Stora Enso, Holmen and BillerudKorsnäs as customers.
Company
Founded in 2004 and based in Kista, Mantex develops and sells equipment that measures the moisture content in organic material.
The company is currently focused on the pulp and paper industry, although its products can be used in several other industries as well.

Stefan Jakélius is an investment manager at Industrifonden. Erik Odén is the CEO of Mantex.
