Litorina-backed Björnkläder acquires two companies
Litorina Kapital's portfolio company Björnkläder has made two add-on acquisitions with Nytello and ProGozz.
In connection with its expansion strategy Björnkläder has changed its name to Grolls.
The transactions will allow Björnkläder to reach new customer groups and further expand the company. The investor is convinced of the firm's growth potential in the Nordic market. Björnkläder is planning to pursue future expansion through a combination of Greenfield store establishments and the acquisition of established stores.
The original deal emerged in December 2010 when Litorina acquired Björnkläder from Davis Service Group in a deal worth SEK 307m.
Nytello is a marketer for work wear, supplying the care, dental, cleaning and kitchen market. The firm has a turnover of SEK 24m and currently employs nine people.
Progozz is based in Uppsala and a re-seller of the Björnkläder workwear range. The company has four employees and a turnover of around SEK 5m.
