Sunstone backs Addwish
Sunstone Capital has injected $1.8m into Addwish, a Danish start-up that offers online wish list services for consumers and online shops.
The fresh capital, provided by Sunstone Capital Technology Ventures, is the company's first external funding round and will be used for expanding internationally as well as recruiting staff. The company aims to sign up 3,000 online shops in the US next year.
Founded in 2007, Copenhagen-based Sunstone is an early-stage technology and life sciences venture capital firm that manages close to €700m across its seven funds.

Based in Copenhagen and co-founded by Brian Petersen and Kasper Refskou, Addwish offers an online and mobile wish list for consumers and web shops. The service allows users to manage the registration and purchase process. Addwish collaborates with Danish e-commerce shops including Bilka.dk, Bahne.dk, Designdelicatessen.dk and Lirumlarumleg.dk.
