
Lifeline Ventures exits Applifier
Lifeline Ventures-backed Applifier, a Helsinki-based mobile game services provider, has been sold to VC-backed Unity Technologies.
Following the acquisition, Everyplay, a game replay sharing and community service developed by Applifier, will be integrated into the San Fransisco-based Unity platform.
Previous funding
Lifeline Ventures injected $4m into Applifier in December 2012, together with Webb Investment Network and existing investors MHS Capital and ProFounders Capital. Angel investors including Anthony Soohoo, Philip Reisberger, David Wright and Zynga India general manager Steven Lurie also participated, as did Tekes, the Finnish funding agency for technology and innovation.
In February 2011, Applifier raised $2m in seed funding from MHS Capital, ProFounders, Tekes and Lifeline, as well as angel investors Jyri Engeström, David Gardner and Lars Stenfeldt Hansen.

Founded in 2010 and based in Helsinki, Applifier is a social game replay service and the maker of Everyplay, which enables players to record, share and discuss their gameplay sessions. Everyplay has a global community of more than 6 million registered mobile players, according to Applifier.
