Via Venture acquires Hostnordic
Via Venture Partners and retail investor Christian Winther have jointly acquired a majority stake in Danish web hosting and IT outsourcing provider Hostnordic.
The investors believe that the web hosting market is undergoing consolidation and wish to take advantage of this trend. Previous owners Christian Beer and Nicolai Pedersen have retained a minority shareholding in the business.

Hostnordic, founded in 2006, offers web hosting and IT outsourcing services. Based in Aarhus, Denmark, the company employs around 25 staff and reported a gross profit of DKK 16.7m in 2011.

Managing partner John Helmsøe-Zinck worked on the deal for Via Venture.
