Maj Invest takes majority stake in ProLøn
Danish GP Maj Invest Equity has taken a majority stake in Denmark-based payroll services provider ProLøn in a management buy-in.
The investment will see Lars Monrad-Gylling, the former CEO of Danish IT giant KMD, become chairman of the board for ProLøn, as well as take a minority stake in the company.
Together with new and existing management, Maj plans to grow the business's operations in Denmark, where it sees a much larger client base than ProLøn is currently serving.
Former majority shareholder Gert Davidsen will retain a stake in the company following the deal, alongside systems developer Bente Dahlgaard.
