
Silverfleet promotes two to partner

Mid-market private equity firm Silverfleet Capital has promoted Robert Knight and Ricardo Sommer to the positions of partner at the firm.
Knight is based in London and joined Silverfleet in 2011. He has since been involved in investments in Phase One, Cimbria, Ipes, Lifetime Training, Riviera Travel and Collectia.
Based in Silverfleet's Munich office, Sommer joined the firm in 2019 to strengthen the firm's lower-mid-market investment team. Since then, he has been responsible for Silverfleet's investment activities in the DACH region, targeting businesses with enterprise values of €25-75m. He will continue to focus on investment activities across the region.

Established in 1990, Silverfleet has carried out more than 120 deals since being founded, with €3.7bn in investments and €6.4bn in proceeds. Its recent investments include French company OneStock, Bulgarian IT company Bulpros/EC4U, Danish company Collectia, and UK-based Care Fertility.
The GP's lower-mid-market fund, the Silverfleet European Development Fund, has so far invested in two companies, namely STAXS Contamination Control Experts, and TrustQuay.
