ABN AMRO has appointed James Courtenay to a new role as head of European high yield & leveraged finance. Courtenay will have dual responsibility for developing the bank's European high yield business as well as leading its burgeoning leveraged finance activities. A former managing director at Bankers Trust with 17 years’ experience in the financial markets, Courtenay built a leading position for CIBC World Markets within leveraged finance.
