Candover

Candover has appointed Alejandro von der Pahlen to build up the firm’s presence in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Von der Pahlen will be based in Madrid, although Candover has no plans to open a full office there in the near future. Von der Pahlen joins from Andersen Corporate Finance, where he was responsible for establishing the firm’s Spanish and Portuguese operations. He will originate deals in Iberia alongside Gerard Conway, who remains in London.
