Spanish science parks on the up

According to statistics collated by the Spanish science and technology parks association Asociación de Parques Científicos y Tecnológicos de España (Apte), Spain now has 1,350 businesses operating from science parks, generating 31,450 jobs and a combined turnover of €5.8bn. This represents an improvement on 2002, when there were 1,266 businesses, 1,266 jobs and €4.72bn stemming from Spanish science parks. There are 33 science park construction projects currently under construction in Spain.
