Catalonia and Galicia create mutual investment pact
The autonomous regions of Catalonia and Galicia have finalised an agreement under which each Catalonia will promote private equity investment in Galician companies and vice versa. The new initiative has been agreed by representatives of the regional private equity firms Xesgalicia and Instituto Catalá de Finances. Investment proposals can be submitted to either of the two parties, although any final decision will be made by a joint committee. The committee will be formed by two members from each of the Instituto Galego de Promoción Económica, Xesgalicia, ICF Holding and ICF’s management company.
