Five new partners join Charme
Five new investors are set to join the Italian private equity house Charme. The new partners are the Marsiaj and Montinari families, Vittorio Merloni, chief shareholder of Merloni Elettrodomestici SpA, Nerio Alessandri, owner of Technogym, and Gianni Punzo, chairman of a port near Naples. Charme, which was launched last year, is continuing its €150m fundraising effort, which is expected to close later this year. The fund will then make around four acquisitions over the next three to four years.
