United Ventures hires Pirovano and Pasin
Italian venture capital house United Ventures has hired Fabio Pirovano as an investment manager and Alessandro Pasin as chief financial officer.
Pirovano joins United Ventures from Woodside Capital Partners, a privately owned boutique investment bank based in Silicon Valley, where he worked as analyst and subsequently an associate focusing on technology and media sectors. More recently, he worked at the London-based lending merchant bank Lepe Partners, where he focused on M&A operations and fundraising advisory.
Prior to joining United Ventures, Pasin focused on strategic planning and investment valuation services for several corporates, including Giorgio Armani, Merloni and Aedes, as well as leading M&A deals and debt restructuring transactions for investment funds such as Nickjen Capital Management.
The GP currently manages its 2013-vintage first vehicle, United Ventures I, which held a final close on its €62.8m hard-cap in October 2014 and currently has 15 companies in its portfolio.
