Quadrivio appoints new chair and CEO
Alessandro Binello and Walter Ricciotti, respectively chair and CEO of Italian private equity house Quadrivio, have stepped down, with Adalberto Alberici and Francesco Ceci taking over.
Following the appointments, Binello and Ricciotti will continue to retain their 70% stake in the GP through Quadrivio Group, alongside holding company Futura Invest, which owns a 30% stake.
Prior to joining Quadrivio, Adalberto Alberici was a professor of economics and corporate governance at Milan-based Bocconi University. During his career, Alberici chaired two supervisory boards at Genoa-based lender Banca Carige for 12 years and at Iren, an Italian listed energy provider, for four years.
Francesco Ceci joined Quadrivio from Italian state-backed asset management firm Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, where he worked as chief financial officer.
Quadrivio currently has €1.3bn in assets under management. It recently held a €120m first closing for its maiden private debt vehicle and is understood to be eyeing a €250m final close for its third private equity fund, as well as a €100m final close for its clean energy- and infrastructure-dedicated vehicle.
