Altamar appoints González and Utrera as COOs
Altamar Capital Partners has appointed Elena González and Marta Utrera as co-chief operating officers.
They will report directly to the firm's founding partners and co-CEOs Claudio Aguirre and José Luis Molina.
González joined Altamar 13 years ago and is now managing director and partner at the firm. Prior to this, she worked as a family office investment manager for three years and as auditor at EY for two years.
Utrera joined Atamar 11 years ago and became managing director and partner of the firm. Prior to this, she worked for PwC as an auditor in the financial services and banking sectors.
Altamar manages €5.8bn in committed capital, has a team of 140 people, and four offices located in Madrid, Barcelona, Santiago de Chile and New York, as well as a representative office in Asia. In addition to its alternative investment activity, Altamar provides financial advice in M&A, IPOs, financing and debt restructuring through its subsidiary Altamar Advisory Partners.
