
Sherpa Capital promotes Miret to partner

Spanish private equity firm Sherpa Capital has promoted Jorge Fernández Miret to partner.
Miret joined Sherpa Capital in 2012 as an investment director and has led a large number of investments and divestments. He is also a board member in several portfolio companies of Sherpa, such as Dogi International Fabrics, Hedonai and Macrolibros.
Prior to joining Sherpa, Miret was a consultant at CB Richard Ellis and Improven Consulting.
Sherpa invests in medium-sized companies. The firm has recently closed its third fund, Sherpa Private Equity, on €150m, exceeding its €125m target after a few weeks of fundraising.
The vehicle plans to invest equity tickets between €10-20m in 8-10 transactions, acquiring primarily majority stakes in Iberian SMEs with annual EBITDA between €1-5m.
