Quaestio holds €635m interim close for private debt fund
Quaestio Capital has held an interim close on €635m for its private debt fund Quaestio Private Markets Funds - European Private Debt.
The vehicle held a first close on €623m in October 2018 and attracted commitments primarily from pension funds and bank foundations.
Quaestio European Private Debt is domiciled in Luxembourg and aims to generate a net annual return of 6% over a seven-year investment period, with a six-monthly income flow of 5% per annum. The fund is managed by an investment team led by portfolio managers Massimo Marzeglia and Giovanni Boscia.
Quaestio also manages a private equity vehicle, Quaestio Italian Growth Fund, which seeks to achieve a 12% gross IRR by investing in companies with the potential to double their revenues and profit performances via organic growth and M&A in a five-year timespan.
