DC Advisory opens Milan office, appoints Vigo as Italian CEO
Corporate finance specialist DC Advisory has launched DC Advisory Italy with the opening of a new office in Milan, which will be led by newly appointed CEO Alberto Vigo.
Vigo has 20 years of experience in Italian M&A. Prior to joining DC Advisory he worked at Mediobanca, where he led deals including the sale of Yoox to Richemont, the acquisition of Laminam by Alpha and the purchase of LF by Riverside.
With the opening of a Milan-based office, the firm expects to further boost its international presence and strengthen its position within the Italian mid-market. DC Advisory has already worked on several transactions in the region, such as Mitsubishi Electric's acquisition of DeLclima, the sale of Clivet to Midea, and the purchase of Marelli Motori by Carlyle.
The launch of DC Advisory Italy follows the opening of DC Advisory Spain in January 2019, and the acquisition of boutique investment banks Sagent and Signal Hill in 2017, bringing the firm's total number of international offices to 33.
DC Advisory is a corporate finance adviser with specific expertise in cross-border transactions; it provides tailored advice on M&A, debt and restructuring, and employs a staff of 500 professionals based across the Americas, Asia and Europe.
