DC Advisory appoints Guarino as managing director

Corporate finance specialist DC Advisory has hired Giuliano Guarino as a managing director in its recently opened Italian office.
Prior to joining DC Advisory, Guarino worked at Lazard as an executive director for 12 years and at Mediobanca in Milan between 2004 and 2006.
Guarino has experience in both cross-border and domestic transactions across a variety of sectors, including industrial and media, and has worked on mid-market Italian M&A, capital raisings and restructuring transactions, advising both corporate and private equity clients.
Guarino has worked on numerous Italian transactions, including the acquisition of pharmaceutical company Recordati, bought by CVC Capital Partners in June 2018.
Earlier this month, the firm launched DC Advisory Italy with an office in Milan, led by newly appointed CEO Alberto Vigo.
With this opening, the firm expects to further boost its international presence and strengthen its position within the Italian mid-market. DC Advisory has already worked on several transactions in the region, such as Mitsubishi Electric's acquisition of DeLClima, the sale of Clivet to Midea, and the purchase of Marelli Motori by Carlyle.
DC Advisory is a corporate finance adviser with specific expertise in cross-border transactions. It provides tailored advice on M&A, debt and restructuring, and employs a staff of 500 professionals based across the Americas, Asia and Europe.
