Aksìa hires two
Italian private equity firm Aksìa Group has hired Edoardo Peroglio Longhin as investment manager and Guglielmo Orsatti as senior analyst.
Prior to joining Aksìa, Peroglio Longhin worked for EY, where he was part of the transaction services division and was engaged in retail, consumer and private-equity-backed deals.
Orsatti previously worked for Rothschild and Mediobanca, and subsequently in the Italian office of French private equity firm PAI Partners for two years.
Aksìa is a mid-market private equity investor led by founding partners and co-CEOs Marco Rayneri and Nicola Emanuele. The GP is currently investing its fifth fund, which was launched in February 2019 with a €200m target and held a first close on €100m in July 2019. The fund has raised commitments of €120m so far and will reach €150-160m after the summer, according to the GP.
Aksìa Capital V targets European businesses with potential for high growth, and with buy-and-build and international expansion opportunities. Target companies will generate EBITDA of €10-25m from revenues in the €30-120m range. The fund is currently almost 20% deployed.
