Alpha appoints Zanotelli as director in Italy
Alpha Private Equity has appointed Livio Zanotelli as a new director of its Milan office.
In his new role, Zanotelli will focus on identifying new investment opportunities across Italy, and will support Alpha's portfolio companies' management teams in their growth and expansion projects.
Zanotelli has 12 years of experience in M&A and buyout transactions across Europe. He previously worked for the investment banking division of JP Morgan in London and Frankfurt, and subsequently for Deutsche Beteiligungs AG.
Alpha is currently investing its seventh fund, Alpha Private Equity Fund 7 (APEF 7), which closed on €903m in June 2017, hitting its hard-cap and exceeding its €800m target.
The firm has been without an Italian leader since Valentina Pippolo, partner and head of Italy, left the company in September 2020.
