Suanfarma launches €30m biotech fund
Specialist investor Suanfarma is to launch its second private equity fund, which will target companies working within the biotechnology sector in Spain.
The vehicle aims to raise €30m to invest in 10-15 start-up firms.
It follows on from Suanfarma's first fund, Suan Biotech, which closed on €9m and has supported seed-stage businesses such as Vivia Biotech, 3P Biopharmaceuticals, Pevesa, Salupharma Biosimilars, Clave Suan, Biomedal, Agrenvec and Halotech.
