Intesa Sanpaolo launches fintech VC Neva Finventures
Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo has launched Neva Finventures, a venture capital vehicle focused on the country's fintech sector.
The fund is led by partner Livio Scalvini and targets minority stakes in Italian startups. According to press reports, the vehicle will manage between €30-100m.
Neva is already evaluating its first potential investments, Intesa said in a recorded statement on its online video blog.
The fund will invest alongside Intesa's venture vehicles Atlante Venture, Atlante Seed and Atlante Mezzogiorno, all managed by Imi Fondi Chiusi.
At the time of publication, Intesa Sanpaolo was not available to comment.
