GED exits Empark
Spanish generalist private equity firm GED Capital has sold its 8.27% stake in Madrid-headquartered car parking services company Empark.
The deal sees Empark's other existing shareholder acquire GED's stake. Portuguese real estate developer A Silva & Silva Imobiliario e Serviços and Chinese securities firm Haitong are among the buyers.
GED invested in the company through its 2006-vintage infrastructure fund, committing €20.5m to the investment.

Founded in 1966, the Madrid-based Empark Aparcamientos y Servicios provides car parking services in Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Turkey and the UK.
