
P101 exits Misiedo via trade sale
Italian venture capital firm P101 has sold its stake in online restaurant booking platform Misiedo to French competitor Restopolitan.
The exit comes after a three-year holding period. Financial details surrounding the transaction have not been disclosed. Following the deal, Misiedo's founder, Simone Tomaello, will retain a stake in the business and continue to lead the company.
P101 currently manages its maiden €66.7m vehicle, which has 26 companies in its portfolio.
Previous funding
In August 2012, Nanabianca and P101 provided a €568,000 round of growth capital funding to the business.
More recently, Italian business incubators Boox, H-Farm Ventures and Startup Alliance, alongside P101 and other investors, provided an additional €375,000 round.
Lastly, P101 led a €568,000 capital increase for the Italian business in July 2014.

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Venice, Misiedo develops an online booking platform for restaurants. The service aims to allow customers to consult the availability of a restaurant and receive confirmation of the reservation through their computer or mobile device.
