
Trilantic sells Betty Blue
Trilantic Europe has sold its 25% stake in Italian luxury fashion retailer Betty Blue to the fashion label Elisabetta Franchi.
Premium womenswear brand Elisabetta Franchi wholly acquired Betty Blue.
Under its ownership, Trilantic focused on the international expansion of the firm, with particular focus on expanding its presence in south-east Asia.
Previous funding
Trilantic acquired a minority stake in the Italian fashion and accessories company in October 2013.

Founded in 1998 and based in Bologna, Betty Blue is a luxury fashion and accessories company. It is owned by Elisabetta Franchi, which operates in Italy and abroad through a network of 80 proprietary branded stores and 1,100 multi-brand stores.
The Italian market accounts for 65% of sales, with further revenues originating in Russia, the Middle East and Asia.
