
Indaco Venture Partners launches €250m fund
Newly founded GP Indaco Venture Partners has launched Fondo Indaco Ventures I with a €250m hard-cap.
The GP was recently founded by a team of five managers composed of CEO Davide Turco, executive vice-president Elizabeth Robinson and investment directors Antonella Beltrame, Alvise Bonivento and Valentina Bocca.
The management team will own 51% of the firm, while Fondazione Cariplo and Intesa Sanpaolo will control the remaining 49%.
Investors
The fund received a €130m commitment from Intesa Sanpaolo, Fondo Italiano d'Investimento and Fondazione Cariplo. In addition to this, Indaco expects to raise capital from institutional investors, both Italian and international.
Investments
The fund will invest in 20-30 late-stage Italian startups operating in the digital, electronic, robotic, medical technology and new materials sectors.
