
Miura backs EfectoLED
Barcelona-based GP Miura Private Equity has acquired Spanish LED lighting retailer EfectoLED from the company founders, Roberto Gómez and Isaac Catalá, who retained an undisclosed stake in the business.
The deal includes EfectoLED's sustainable transport division iWatMotion, which sells electrical bicycles and scooters.
LGT European Capital provided financing to support the acquisition.
This is the first investment made by the GP via its Miura Fund III, which held a final close on its €330m hard-cap in January 2018.

Based in Valencia, EfectoLED is an online retailer and distributor of industrial and residential LED lighting and electrical components. The company employs 220 staff and serves 500,000 customers across Europe. It expects to reach revenues of €60m in 2018, up 20% on 2017.
