Orienta backs Passione Unghie
An Orienta Partners-led investor syndicate has acquired a majority stake in Italian nail products specialist Passione Unghie.
Italy-based private equity firm Orienta led the investor consortium, while Equita, via its Equita Private Debt Fund, co-invested alongside the GP and provided a mezzanine credit facility to support the acquisition.
The company's founders retained the remaining minority stake in Passione Unghie and will continue to lead the business.
Orienta intends to boost the company's growth, further develop its product offering and support its expansion into new geographies.

Founded in 2011 and based in Vicenza, Passione Unghie manufactures and distributes professional nail products, including acrylic, UV gel and accessories. The company generated revenues of €17.6m in 2018.
