Capital Criativo exits Intelligent Sensing Anywhere
Portuguese private equity firm Capital Creativo has sold its stake in remote monitoring specialist Intelligent Sensing Anywhere (ISA) to US-based data firm Anova.
With the integration of ISA, Anova plans to further expand its geographical footprint and enlarge its product offering in the remote monitoring sector.
Anova provides cloud-based analytics for remote monitoring to reduce operational costs, prevent stock-outs, and improve customer service. Originally known as Dataonline, the company rebranded in March 2019, following the integration of Dataonline with its subsidiaries Wikon, Wesroc and iTank in one single brand.
Capital Creativo bought an 83.4% stake in ISA in 2011. The GP invests in Portuguese small and medium-sized companies operating in the tourism, retail, consumer, technology and business services sectors.
Company
Established in 1990, ISA is a provider of remote monitoring and telemetry for the oil and gas, energy and water industries. The company is headquartered in Coimbra with additional offices located in Brazil, Canada and the US.
