
Investcorp buys Vivaticket from Bravo Capital
Investcorp has acquired Italian ticketing software developer Vivaticket from Bravo Capital Partners, the company's co-founders, and minority shareholders P4P International and Girefin Trust.
Vivaticket's co-founders, Luca Montebugnoli and Luana Sabattini, and the company's management team will retain a significant minority stake and remain involved in the business.
The GP intends to boost the company's growth, both organically and through add-on acquisitions, strengthen its presence in existing markets and further expand its geographic footprint.
Investcorp is currently investing via its Investcorp Technology Partners IV, which held a final close on $400m in December 2018. The fund targets fast-growing technology businesses headquartered in Europe and operating in the data, analytics, IT security, fintech, payments, internet and transport sectors. It deploys equity tickets in the $25-50m range.

Vivaticket, at the time known as Best Union, was listed on the Milan stock exchange in 2008 and was taken private by Bravo Capital Partners, the company's founders and minority shareholders in 2018.

Established in 1999 and headquartered in Bologna, Vivaticket is a provider of integrated ticketing and event management software for the entertainment industry. The company also offers event production and promotion for a wide range of events, providing planning, communication, advertising campaigns and staging.
Vivaticket has around 2,100 clients across 50 countries worldwide, including international brands such as Walt Disney World, Musée du Louvre and FC Barcelona. It employs 450 people and has operations in 10 countries across Europe, the Middle East, North America, Latin America and the Asia Pacific region. The company generates EBITDA of around €10m from revenues of approximately €90m.
