Xenon acquires Impresoft
Italian GP Xenon Private Equity has acquired a majority stake in Milan-based information and communications technology (ICT) specialist Impresoft.
Impresoft was established with the merger of five companies: Impresoft, 4ward, Brainware, Gruppo Formula and Qualitas Informatica.
Unquote understands that the group has an EV of around €75m.
The GP deployed capital from its seventh fund, which was recently closed on €300m. The fund deploys equity tickets in the €15-40m range in Italian mid-market companies generating revenues of €30-80m and EBITDA of €2-15m. This deal follows the acquisition of Italian steel blades manufacturer CBG Acciai.
Xenon intends to further boost Impresoft's organic growth and its expansion into additional geographies and markets. The GP plans to pursue a buy-and-build strategy by acquiring additional companies operating in complementary segments with the aim of creating an aggregation platform in the ICT market.

Headquartered in Milan, Impresoft specialises in enterprise resource planning, digital transformation, customer relationship management software, cloud-based data centres, corporate performance monitoring, digital transformation, digital workplace and business intelligence.
The group serves 3,000 clients, employs 430 staff and has 19 offices. Impresoft expects to generate EBITDA of €11.5m from revenues of €55m in 2019, Unquote understands.
