Mutares buys Ericsson Services Italia
Mutares has carved out Ericsson Services Italia from Ericsson Telecomunicazioni.
Following the deal, the GP intends to boost the company's growth, consolidate its position in the Italian market and accelerate its expansion.
Headquartered in Munich, Mutares typically invests in companies or divisions that generate little profit and are no longer part of the core business of a larger corporation. It targets European companies that have potential for development and already possess established business models – often combined with strong brands.
The firm focuses on the automotive, mobility, engineering, technology and consumer goods and services sectors, and invests in companies generating turnover of €50-500m.
