
Hyle Capital buys dried fruit producer Manuzzi
Hyle Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Manuzzi, an Italian dried fruit producer.
The GP invested in the company via its debut fund Finance For Food One, which is dedicated to investments in Italian companies operating across the agri-food industry.
Manuzzi founders Aurelio Manuzzi, Paolo Manuzzi and Fabio Barbieri will retain a minority stake in the business. Following the deal, Aurelio Manuzzi and Fabio Barbieri will continue to lead the company.
With Hyle's support, Manuzzi plans to further consolidate its market position, accelerate its international expansion and pursue a buy-and-build strategy. The company also expects to double its turnover in the next five years.

Established in 2005 and based in Cesena, Manuzzi specialises in the production of dried and dehydrated fruit, and fresh and roasted nuts.
The company generated turnover of €16m in 2020 and expects to reach revenues of €20m in 2021.
