
Neuberger exits Service Med to MedicAir
Neuberger Berman has sold its majority stake in anti-decubitus systems manufacturer Service Med to home care specialist MedicAir Group.
In addition to the majority stake owned by Neuberger, MedicAir also acquired the remaining shares from the company's founders.
Neuberger controlled the company via Atlante Private Equity Fund, which acquired a 75% stake in Service Med in October 2015. Neuberger took over the management of Fondo Atlante from Imi Fondi Chiusi in May 2018.

Established in 1992 and headquartered in Bussolengo, near Verona, Service Med is a manufacturer of anti-decubitus systems, including a range of beds and mattresses to avoid and prevent skin lesions.
The company generates annual revenues of around €19m.
