
EUR 20m pour into Milk Capital's maiden fund

Milk Capital has raised EUR20m in subscriptions for its maiden fund of the same name. The venture firm was founded in October 2007 and focuses mainly on early-stage investments on a global scale.

The company's six partners were the only investors in the fund.
Investments
Milk Capital plan to use the fund to complete five to seven deals by 2009. Geographically, Milk Capital has taken a global approach and will seek to invest in the new technology, telecommunication & internet, renewable energy and IT sectors. The firm will seek minority stakes in companies investing a maximum of EUR5m with no minimum investment. The firm has completed two investments so far in two Israeli start-up companies. Milk Capital is in the process of opening an office there.

The fund will be managed by Milk Capital's partners David Andre Grebler, Bruno Bloch, Jean-David Amer, Marc Eisenberg and led by Nathanael Eisenberg and Carlos Rodiguez.
