Kroll acquires Invex advisory practice
Invex Partners, the Birmingham-based corporate finance adviser, has been acquired by Kroll Inc, the business risk consultancy. Kroll is a NASDAQ-quoted company with offices in 60 cities throughout the world.Invex Partners will change its name to Kroll and will merge with the ex-Andersen team recruited into London in late 2002. The combined group aims to develop a national corporate finance business which will benefit from Kroll's transatlantic presence. Among the deals that Invex Partners has advised on are the £15m BIMBO of CAP Aluminium Limited, backed by Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity.
