Bird & Bird has appointed partner Mark Pinder, who is due to join in October, to its London corporate practice. Previously, Pinder established Sidley & Austin's corporate practice before joining the London arm of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher in 2001. He has also worked at Travers Smith Braithwaite and Slaughter & May and has advised clients including Lehman Brothers Real Estate, Swedish engineering company Trelleborg and US food equipment manufacturer Scotsman Industries.
